    It will likley grow over the next several years - but keep in mind - people still need to become aware that busiensses exist through traditional media such as radio/tv still THEN location based media comes into play when the consumer searches it out. They work hand in hand.

    True enough Tony. The LBS industry is definitely still in its infancy. I think 2009 will be a big year though.

    I think it's great that technology allows for such amazing gadgets. I wonder if a location based advertisement system will be somewhat annoying to some people. This almost seems like pop-ups that show up on some websites.

    I'm sure it will be. But on the upside, ads will be better tailored to you needs and geographical position, hopefully making them a little more useful.
